View ProjectI create editorial-style interior photography for designers, architects and builders throughout Chicago and the Midwest. The goal isn’t simply to produce beautiful room photographs. It’s to create a lasting body of imagery that communicates your point of view and helps you attract more of the work you want.
A thoughtfully photographed project can support your business long after installation day. The images may appear on your website, social media, proposals, awards submissions, editorial pitches and partner marketing.
By planning those needs before the shoot, we can create a combination of establishing views, composed room photographs, vertical images, details and supporting content with far greater long-term value.
We begin with a conversation about the project, its strongest design decisions and where the photographs are headed. Before the shoot, I consider the natural light, orientation, styling needs and most efficient order for photographing the space.
On location, my camera can be tethered to an iPad so we review images together as they are created. If a styling detail needs adjusting or a composition can be improved, we address it in the moment. Every selected image is then carefully retouched and color-corrected before delivery.
I serve as Director of Finance for ASID Illinois and support organizations including Designs for Dignity and Chicago Gateway Green. My work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, HGTV, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine and Modern Luxury.
